From Hustler to Business Builder: Make a Decision

Every week, I'm working on sharing with others the difference between hustling and building a business.

The hustler is the one needing the money because they are tired of living paycheck to paycheck, or client to client. The hustler's bottom-line is just the dollar, not the relationship, not the legacy, and surely not the BAD-Billionaire status. (not that it's important but follow me)

A business builder may start out as a hustler but doesn't stay there; why? how?

The hustler makes a decision. He or she decides to build a business to change their life either while working or trying to stay alive. The hustler makes a decision they want more and puts the work in to DO more. They thus become a business builder. The moment they decide they want financial stability and leaving a legacy for their children, they are no longer a hustler.

The point I'm making is, MAKE A DECISION.

"You either want to have a business, now or after retirement, or you want to retire and hustle through your dream."

Three points to consider while you're in hustle mode:

  • What do you really want in the end?
  • What does your life look like once you're gone?
  • What do you want people to see about your life?
